CAN-bus Vehicle Mount Display
Grayhill's 3D Series displays are built for the rugged conditions and harsh environments common in agriculture and construction vehicles. All displays in the 3D Series undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet the ISO and ANSI specifications, such as environmental seal, temperature range and electrical conditions.
The 3D Series MicroDisplay is a 3.2-inch, backlit, transflective LCD for monitoring data on CAN-bus connected off-highway vehicles. The compact device makes it easy to create screens with custom graphics, text and even gauges that automatically adjust based on J1939 values. Because the MicroDisplay is controlled by J1939 commands, native coding is not required. Screens are created with a Windows PC-based software tool and commands are received from the vehicle's ECU.
The 3D Series also includes a 10.4-inch and a 6.5-inch LCD with embedded single-board computers in rugged and sealed housings. These displays run a Windows CE operating system, although Linux can be specified as a custom variant. This creates a flexible display device on which many different apps can be run simultaneously, such as precision farming, GPS, camera video feeds, virtual gauges and many more!
